Giving to the Construction Engineering Management Program

Regional construction industry leaders have already made significant gifts to BUILDING FUTURE LEADERS.

Recognizing Southern California's need for qualified engineers with construction and project management skills, Jack and Jane Filanc established a $3 million endowment that provides general funding for the J.R. Filanc Construction Engineering and Management program at SDSU.

SDSU alumnus Kevin Elliot, former president of Roel Construction Company, decided to honor the legacy of his grandfather and company founder, Paul S. Roel, by providing a $500,000 gift in his name. Today that gift helps ensure CEM's success by funding the program chair. Members of the San Diego chapter of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) contributed more than $2.5 million for the success of the program.

Our Fundraising Focus

Our Request to You

Without the support of generous donors like you, we could not fund the innovative initiatives which support student and faculty excellence. In order to move forward with our strategic vision of transforming the college, we must raise more than a million dollars in private funding this year. Your donation, no matter what size, will help us realize this goal.

Support SDSU by making an online gift today.
